Hook (Nov 1 EU) - Lost hero - 08-23-2011 In an early alert to retailers Sony has made public plans to finally bring the 1991 Steven Spielberg directed film “Hook” starring Robin Williams, Dustin Hoffman, Julia Roberts and Bob Hoskins to Blu-ray Disc on November 1st. This marks the 20th anniversary of the film coincidentally. The title is already available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon with an affordable $13.99 price tag. UPDATE: The tech specs for this release include full 1080p Hi-Def video in the 2.40:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. No bonus materials are going to be included on this release.
