The Universal Classic Monsters: Essential Collection isn't perfect. Not every film is a tried and true classic, debate will rage about horror greats that were left behind, not every video presentation or DTS-HD Master Audio Mono mix is ideal, and the majority of the special features have been ported over from the previously released DVDs. Even so, the Essential Collection is a Blu-ray essential. Universal has put considerable effort into restoring and revitalizing each film, and while there's room to nitpick, it's hard to focus on little flaws when the whole of the package is so good. If you have any love for Golden Age horror classics, add this one to your cart or wish list post haste.

Aunque dice que son 8 peliculas son 9 ,si toman en cuenta Dracula (Spanish Version) que viene como extra en el disco de Dracula.

Les informo que a mi ya me llego mi ATAUD de UK, como soy desesperado la pedi por Paqueteria y me llego este viernes. Esta padrisima esta edicion, solo he visto 3 peliculas apenas las dos de DRACULA y la de FRANKENSTEIN, el transfer es ESPECTACULAR sobre todo en DRACULA no puedes creer que es de 1931 !!!!
Todas traen increibles EXTRAS, cada pelicula trae su documental de 40 minutos, la de DRACULA & Frankenstein traen como 2 horas de Extras, en la de Frankenstein viene un documental sobre los "Monstruos de Universal" de 90 minutos de duracion, todo subtitulado en español.

Pues compré la edición gringa porque me gusta más que venga con su libro y arte conceptual y demás tonterías, pero sea cual sea la edición, la remasterización de cada una de las películas se lleva las palmas.
