Universal Pictures Video has announced the release of Psycho: Special Edition for the 17th of October, priced at around £19.99. The two disc set will include a bonus disc entitled The Hitchcock Legacy, incorporating 'Masters of Cinema: Alfred Hitchcock' and the 'American Film Institute Salute to Alfred Hitchcock'. Also available at around £9.99 will be the films The Birds, Vertigo, Rear Window, Family Plot, Saboteur, Shadow of a Doubt, The Man Who Knew too Much, Frenzy, Marnie, The Trouble with Harry, Rope, Torn Curtain, Mr and Mrs Smith and Foreign Correspondent. In addition to the single disc releases, a special fifteen disc Alfred Hitchcock Collection boxed set will also be available.
