Columbia Tristar Home Entertainment has officially announced Batman and Robin: The Serial Collection which includes fifteen action-packed episodes of one of the most thrilling adventure serials of yesteryear. This action adventure was originally shown in movie theaters in 1949, one chapter at a time, in weekly installments. This two-disc set will be available to own from the 22nd March, and should be priced at around $29.95. I'm afraid the only extra material for this one appears to be some preview trailers. However, the advertisement we have also promises that the episodes will receive high-definition audio treatment. We've attached the official region one artwork below, along with a couple of menu shots:

Batman and Robin: The Serial Collection contains all fifteen episodes that were shown in theaters (before the main feature) back in 1949. They were written by Batman creator Bob Kane himself, were directed by Spencer Gordon Bennet and starred Robert Lowery, Johnny Duncan, Jane Adams and Lyle Talbot.

Por el momento está confirmado solamente los subtítulos en Japones.
Espero que surja más información con respecto a esta edición ya que si confirman subs en español es una compra segura. A cruzar los dedos !!!
