Batman, The - 2nd DVD for new series features Catwoman, Man-Bat, & Mr. Freeze!
We're still about a month ahead of the first DVD release of the most recent cartoon version of The Batman, but Warner is already making their plans for the Season 1, Volume 2 release of the set. In fact, it's already been a couple of months since we told you to expect the second DVD release to be "coming soon". Now the studio has really gotten us juiced for the next one, by revealing the title and an early look at the box art...all the while, though, holding off on tellilng us when to expect this in stores.
The date, price, and specs for ought to be announced soon, but here's a look at the cover art. From it, we can discern that the 3 episodes mentioned will consist of "The Cat and the Bat" (starring the voice of Gina Gershon as The Catwoman), "The Man Who Would Be Bat" (with Ally McBeal's Peter MacNicol as Kirk Langstrom/Man-Bat), and "The Big Chill" (featuring Mr. Freeze, voiced by Clancy Brown, who was the voice of Lex Luthor on two previous animated DC Comics 'toons). Stay tuned for more!
