- 15 Minutes (HD, 15 minutes) -- First up is a fascinating photo montage that collects various images from Anderson’s extensive research and juxtaposes them with final footage from the film. Set to music from Jonny Greenwood’s score, the result is a wordless examination of the accuracy and attention to detail present in the production.

- Fishing (HD, 6 minutes) -- As far as I’m concerned, this lengthy deleted scene should have been refined and retained in the final edit of the film. It not only gives Daniel Day Lewis a chance to chew up more scenery, but it focuses on an aspect of oil drilling not covered in the theatrical cut. Yes, it drags a bit and feels rather expositional, but with some careful editing, it would have been a nice addition.

- Haircut/Interrupted Hymn (HD, 3 minutes) -- I also wish this collection of three quick scenes had made it into the final film. I’m sure they were cut because of pacing, but I really enjoyed seeing more of the unspoken bond between Plainview and his adopted son.

- Dailies Gone Wild (HD, 3 minutes) -- This is an alternate take of Daniel’s frazzled reaction to the other businessmen in the bar. It’s a decent bonus, but presented without any context, it exists merely to show off Daniel Day Lewis’ acting abilities.

- Trailers (HD, 3 minutes) -- A teaser trailer and a theatrical preview.

- The Story of Petroleum (HD, 26 minutes) -- The last bonus on the disc is a silent film from 1923 created to showcase the rapidly-expanding oil industry of the era. It’s a unique addition to the package.

Mismo transfer/calidad de video que en Estados Unidos (Paramount). Nada más el audio difiere, Buena Vista puso LPCM en vez de Dolby TrueHD.
