In an early announcement to retailers, Sony Pictures has revealed that it will release on Blu-ray Danish director Nicolas Winding Refn's (Bronson, Valhalla Rising) Drive, starring Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan. Earlier this year, the film, which was distributed theatrically in the U.S. by FilmDistrict Pictures, won Best Director Award at the Cannes Film Festival.

Ryan Gosling stars as a Los Angeles wheelman for hire, stunt driving for movie productions by day and steering getaway vehicles for armed heists by night. Though a loner by nature, Driver can't help falling in love with his beautiful neighbor Irene (Carey Mulligan), a vulnerable young mother dragged into a dangerous underworld by the return of her ex-convict husband Standard (Oscar Isaac).

Update: The Blu-ray presents the film in its 2.39:1 original aspect ratio with 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio sound. The disc also contains a number of bonus materials, including:
