In an early alert to retailers The Weinstein Company (here being distributed by Sony) has made public their plans to bring the 2011 Michel Hazanavicius directed critically-acclaimed silent film “The Artist” to Blu-ray Disc on April 24th.

Tech specs for the release include full 1080p Hi-Def video in the 1.37:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. The bonus materials set to be included on the release are listed below.
