It might not be the ultimate "überset" mentioned in yesterday's post, but you WILL be able to buy the complete theatrical edition of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy as a 6-disc DVD set from New Line on May 25th (SRP $89.98).

Although the mammoth set fans are expecting may be months away, a six disc box set of The Lord of the Rings trilogy will contain the theatrical versions of all three films. Two sets will be available, one with the films in fullscreen and one in anamorphic widescreen.
The sets will arrive on May 25th with a suggested retail price of $89.98.
