July 07, 2004 - Lions Gate has just announced a new Red Heat: Special Edition DVD, featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger as a Russian police officer and Jim Belushi as an American cop who form a reluctant team to catch a Russian drug dealer.

The disc will ship on September 7 for a suggested price of $19.98. It will feature a newly remastered 1.85 anamorphic widescreen transfer and Dolby Digital 5.1 and 2.0 audio.

The extras include East Meets West, a making-of documentary featuring new interviews with cast and crew, I'm Not Russian, But I Play One on TV: Ed O'Ross (who played the villain in the movie) and Bennie Dobbins: A Stunt Man for All Seasons Other features include a vintage "making-of" TV special, TV spots and theatrical trailers.
