Universal has announced the official release date for The Chronicles of Riddick which stars Vin Diesel, Thandie Newton, Judi Dench and Keith David. The hit David Twohy directed sequel, will be available to own from the 16th November in both rated and unrated director's cuts. Each will retail at around $29.98 a pop. Both of the discs will carry 2.40:1 anamorphic widescreen transfers along with English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround, French Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround and Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround tracks. I'm afraid we have no details on extra material yet, although we can confirm that the director's cut will include an additional seven minutes of footage.
