The Fast and the Furious: Tricked Out Edition
Yet another good DVD is double-dipped.

March 25, 2003 - On June 3, Universal will re-release one of the best DVDs of 2002, The Fast and the Furious in a new "Tricked Out Edition" in order to cash in on the upcoming sequel. The DVD will once again feature anamorphic widescreen video, but there will also be a full screen edition released.

Just what's new in this "Tricked Out Edition"? The double-dip will feature a new short film starring Paul Walker titled The Road to 2 Fast 2 Furious that chronicles the adventure of Brian O'Connor after the events of the first movie, but before the start of the second. The disc promises an "All New Movie Experience" with multi-angle car shots that branch off from the movie itself, as well as a featurette titled "Faster and More Furious" that shows you how to "trick out" your car. Finally the disc promises a preview of the sequel and "much more".
