The Durabrand/Venturer STS75E has the same DVD player as the Venturer STS21AAS-10. Here's the remote hacks I've tested and found to work:

Region free hack:

Open the tray
Press 8, 1, 3, 2 and 8
The region menu will appear, then press enter until region 9 is selected and press Play
The unit will now be multi region.

VCD playback:

To play VCDs, open the tray, press 0, 0, 0, 1, and press play.

Switch on DVD
open cover
press stop
key in 2379 ( or 1369) on remote
on tv screen use arrows on the dvd remote to select region 0
then click ok
