Warner has announced single and double-disc editions of Phantom of the Opera which stars the likes of Gerard Butler, Emmy Rossum, Miranda Richardson and Minnie Driver. This new Joel Schumacher directed film will arrive from the 3rd May this year. The single-disc will retail at around $27.95, whereas the two-disc collector's edition will be priced at around $29.95. Both will feature a 2.40:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer along with both English and French Dolby Digital 5.1 tracks. English, French and Spanish subtitles will also be provided. As far as we know, the single-disc release will include only the theatrical trailer, whereas the collector's edition will carry two documentaries on the story and the films musical's legacy and three making of featurettes.
