Warner Home Entertainment begins transitioning their beloved Looney Tunes characters onto high-def with this year's release of Space Jam on Blu-ray. In the film, which combines live action and animated footage, some of Termite Terrace's biggest stars team up with sports legend Michael Jordan to defeat an alien slave driver's intergalactic basketball team.

Warner has not detailed the Blu-ray's special features yet; hopefully, it will have some of the material from the old 2-disc DVD set, which included behind-the-scenes featurettes, music videos, and four Looney Tunes cartoons. Check back later for further details.
