In an early announcement to retailers, the UK branches of 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment and MGM have revealed that they will release on Blu-ray Jerome Robbins and Robert Wise's legendary West Side Story (1961), starring Natalie Wood, Richard Beymer, Russ Tamblyn, Rita Moreno, and George Chakiris. Technical specs and region coding status for this release are unknown at the moment. Street date is October 17th.
