Edmundo, tambien seria bueno hecharle un vistazo a este otro modelo. Este no tiene DVI, pero te convierte la señal 480p a 720p o 1080i por las salidas de componentes. Ademas, puede reproducir DivX y MPGE-4. El modelo es Lite-On LVD2001, y aqui esta el link de una reseña muy buena, lo unico es que esta en ingles:

Ya lo estuve viendo y esta a muy buen precio ahorita. Se puede hackear a multizona y me parece que tambien convierte de NTSC>PAL y viceversa.

Hoy por primera vez, me toco verlo en Circuit City en 450 dolares. Quiza sea demasiado tarde, ya que existen otras opciones en el mercado.
