Aunque aún no se ha dicho nada acerca de R1 o R4, en alemania se va a lanzar este set para septiembre (por parte de MGM)

I read on a german DVD news site that MGM has announced that they will be releasing a Pink Panther Cartoon Collection in September in Germany!

So far, that's the only info I've got but what news, don't you think? I can think of at least one particular member on this Forum that will be especially pleased!

If this set follows the same pattern from the one released just last year (I'm refering to The Peter Sellers Pink Panther Film Collection), expect a multi-disc set with wonderful artwork and great bonus features!

Ahhh Ok, yo crei que esos eran los de los 60's... :oops: los que me da igual son donde salía con el tal Piernas Locas Crane y un Gusanillo volador (Dragonfly), pensé que eran los de los 70's porque al final salía la Pantera bailando Como John Travolta, hehehe eso es lo único rescatable de ese Show

Lo que pasa es que esas "encarnaciones" de programas (el nuevo show de la Pantera Rosa y anexas) eras recopilaciones de los cortos de cine (theatrical shorts) para la TV (así como era en su tiempo "el show de Mickey y Donald")... ignoro si los de "piernal locas Crane" y "el oso hormiguero" fueran personajes diseñados para la TV o también hicieron su debut en el cine, pero ciertamente eran bastantes malos (el único "second banana" verdaderamente chido era el Inspector)

Se supone que este set será la recopilación de los theatrical shorts...

Segun digitalbits, uno de los títulos rumorados en R1 por parte de MGM es éste...

El R2 tiene tiempo que salió en europa, lo malo es que allá salió en WS anamórfico, el cual no respeta el OAR de estos cortos... ojalá no metan la pata con la versión R1

Esperemos que sea pronto la salida de esta colección y como dice arturo que se conserve el OAR, hace algunos meses vi un capítulo de la Pantera en Boomerang, precisamente el de la era de Piedra, en el que la Pantera, los dinosaurios y el cavernicola se disputan en corretizas por apropiarse de un hueso, bueno pues durante dicho episodio, le cambie el idioma de Inglés a Español y viceversa por curiosidad ya que en el inicio se presenta una pequeña introducción de texto en Inglés y que en Español se traduce con la voz del Narrador, y me di cuenta que las risas grabadas presentes en el Idioma Español no se presentan en el idioma Inglés :o , esperemos que agreguen ambos idiomas en el DVD a pesar de que no existen diálogos, la presencia de estas risas bueno pues ya estan en mi memoria desde chico.

MGM has decided to postpone their release of The Pink Panther Classic Cartoon Collection; a new release date isn't known yet.

The news comes on the heels of new about the delay of the Steve Martin theatrical movie, which has been moved to February 10th, 2006. It's likely we'll see the cartoon collection released around then to capitalize on the publicity associated with the movie. The DVD re-releases of the previous Peter Sellers films are also likely to be affected.
