Buena Vista Home Entertainment is preparing a Mary Poppins: 40th Anniversary Edition two-disc set for release later this year. Aside from a newly spruced up anamorphic video transfer and Dolby Digital 5.1 audio, this definitive collection is set to feature a newly recorded audio commentary track(with participants to be announced), a number of behind-the-scenes, music and animation featurettes, vintage footage and specials, trailers, set-top games and more.



Additionally, look for stars Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke to be reunited in a new live action/animated sequence, with music by Oscar-winner Richard Sherman, especially created for the DVD. Mary Poppins should be flying into your home just in time for the holiday season this December with a retail of $29.99.

Lo malo es que Disney/BV tiene la mala costumbre de no poner subtítulos en español en las ediciónes R1

si, yo tengo la version "estandar" de Mary Poppins y trae ingles, frances y español como audio, mas no en subtitulos y es letterbox, no anamorfico, por eso quiero esta nueva version, ojala traiga subtitulos en español

Disney has announced a 2-disc Mary Poppins: 40th Anniversary Special Edition for release on 12/14 (SRP $29.99). The film will be presented in 1.66:1 anamorphic widescreen. Extras will include the never-before-heard deleted song Chimpanzoo, a 50-minute behind-the-scenes documentary, new interviews, an interactive game, a new animated short based on an original P.L. yo creo que si va a salir en R4, no lo duden... cuando una edicion sale en otro pais que no sea USA, sí la sacan, y ya la estan anunciando en Europa asi que esta vez no será como con Alicia.

en R1 disney jamás subtitula los extras, ni pone subtitulos tampoco, aunque ponga el track de audio en español.
De todas maneras el doblaje será nuevo, hace unos años se hizo un doblaje mexicano, dejando atrás al doblaje español viejito.

por cierto, dónde viste el nuevo doblaje?... hace un par de años editaron Mary en VHS por aquí y era el mismo doblaje antiguo....
