Tiene rato que no veo las novedades en audio y video pero se ve que este es un equipo Flagship.

En conectividad se puede considerar excelente, aunque tengo dudas de sus capacidades de reproducción. Se trata de un reproductor multiformato?

Me toco ver hace tiempo en accion el 939, que es el anterior a este con certificacion THX. Con Onkyo, siempre he tenido duda en la seccion de video. Tanto en la linea baja como en la alta. Me imagino que este juguetito andara rondando por los $1,500.

Si listaramos los modelos TOP en reproductores universales, de marcas como: Pioneer, Elite, Onkyo, Integra, Marantz, Denon, etc. e hicieramos un comparativo, Yamaha ofrece en su modelo top el precio mas economico, que actualmente es el Yamaha 2300mkII, que tiene buen precio en Mexico: 11k MXN, y esperar el precio de Onkyo1000, Integra DPS 10.5, el Marantz 8400 cuesta 26k mxp, Denon 5900 no tengo precio, pero parece que anda mas de 40k MXN.

Esta por llegar el nuevo modelo TOP de Yamaha 2500 precio tentativo de 699usd de lista, que seria sucesor del 2300mkII. Entre algunas caracterisicas interesantes ofrece un nuevo DAC de Faroudja de 216MHz/12-bit y PAL/NTSC progresivo, ademas de una salida HDMI

:lol: Quiero matar un pajaro de varios tiros, es decir que sea un aparato de DVD universal ademas de hacer la conversion PAL/NTSC, todos los modelos tops de las marcas citadas no hacen la conversion PAL/NTSC.

El modelo 2300 ("a secas") no hace la conversion, no he probado el 2300mkII. Pero el Yamaha 2500 seria interesante y mas por su nuevo DAC y su salida HDMI. Pero su salida es hasta Enero-2005.

Sino, bueno, sin ser fan de Yamaha me sacricare con este modelo el S1500 si hace la conversion por especificacion directo de fabrica ademas de ser universal:

A ese precio suena muy prometedor. Lamentablemente, no se si existan hacks para Yamaha para convertirlo a multiregion. Acepto, que tampoco he buscado 8)
