Creo aqui se llamo esta serie los tigres voladores, si mal no recuerdo:

Early last week, we jumped for joy in bringing you the formal announcement for Baa Baa Black Sheep - Volume 1: The First Adventures of The Black Sheep Squadron, due to fly off store shelves on May 24th (just in time for Memorial Day, as well as the 60th anniversary of the end of World War II).

One of the questions fans asked was whether the pilot telefilm called The Flying Misfits would be included in this box set. Universal yesterday confirmed that it would, and you can see it mentioned here in this description:

The sky's the limit for high-flying action as the popular WWII military series, Baa Baa Black Sheep (Black Sheep Squadron), comes to DVD for the first time ever! Ride along with the heroic "Black Sheep Squadron," a group of misfit Marine fighter pilots. The other thing fans wanted, of course, was a look at the packaging for this long-awaited release. We've got that for you right here, in a 3-D skewed view, and from that we can see that Universal has used it as one of the initial releases in a newly-christened "Classic Television" series of box sets. Yo me apunto con esta, me encantaba ver a los famosos corsarios darles en la torre a los ceros japoneses ( aunque solo fuera en esta serie). ojala tenga doblaje o ya de perdis sub en español...

Aaaaah bueno, yo pensé que era de "mas pa´cá" la serie, gracias por la aclaración Homero.

¿Y estaba chida? ¿De que trata a grandes rasgos?

Trataba de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, especificamente cuando USA entra a la guerra despues de Pearl Harbor y la serie trataba de las batallas aéreas entre los gringos y los japoneses, muy buena la serie para su tiempo, digamos que entre los adolescentes de la epóca es una serie de culto.
