"Be aware before buying that this Blu-ray set has been delayed in the US and Germany in order to correct mistakes in the film transfers. However, as of writing, the UK set still shows a release date of Oct 1st. If it still shows this release date, this means that Universal have decided NOT to correct those mistakes in the UK. This means that either you will be spending £100 on a faulty release or, at best, you'll have to send some of the discs back for replacement. Faults include - errors in spelling on replaced credits and faulty authoring on MARNIE (wherein the picture is fuzzy until chapter 18, when it reverts suddenly back to normal). This same problem may apply to TORN CURTAIN and there may be issues with the colour on VERTIGO. These are not simply poor transfers, they are errors in the authoring. I've sought clarity from Univeral on these issues but have heard nothing back. Leading authorities on film preservation and presentation are advising consumers NOT to pre-order until these issues are addressed."
